How we handle your information.

This policy explains how POPS Physiotherapy collects, uses, and protects information submitted through popsbarbados.com.

Who we are

Physiotherapy and Optimal Performance Services ("POPS", "we", "our") is a private physiotherapy practice based at the Aquatic Center Complex in Wildey, St. Michael, Barbados. This privacy policy explains how we handle information collected through our website at popsbarbados.com.

This policy applies only to the website. Information collected during clinical care at the practice is governed separately by our clinical records policy, which we share at the time of intake.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you submit a form on the website — for example, a programme enquiry or a general contact message. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, and any free-text notes you choose to add.

We do not request clinical or medical information through this website. Please do not submit detailed health information through any form on this site. We'll cover that during your appointment.

We collect basic analytics about how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referring source). This is aggregate and not tied to individual identity.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry — to confirm appointments, follow up on programme interest, or answer questions you have sent. We do not sell or rent your information.

We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for our internal records of who has contacted the practice. You can request deletion of your information at any time by emailing info@popsbarbados.com.

Third-party services

The website is hosted on Vercel, which receives basic request information (IP address, user agent) as part of normal web hosting. We use Vercel's first-party analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights), which collect anonymous performance and usage data.

Online booking is provided through Noterro. When you book through that flow, the information you provide is processed by Noterro under their privacy policy.

Form submissions are delivered to us by email through Resend, an email delivery service that processes your submission on our behalf under their data processing terms. We keep these enquiries in our email inbox rather than in a separate website database.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or social media tracking pixels on this site.

Cookies

The website uses a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies for performance and analytics. We do not use cookies for advertising. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies; doing so does not affect your ability to use the site.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request that we correct inaccuracies, or ask us to delete your information. To make any of these requests, contact us at info@popsbarbados.com.

If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available at this URL with the date of last update shown below.
